Because the heart imaging happens in this clinic and is read by the same doctor who examined your child, most families walk out with a diagnosis on the day they walk in.
Echocardiography
Full 2D echo with colour Doppler — chambers, valves, shunts and function, reported by the cardiologist who scans.
Electrocardiogram
12-lead ECG for rhythm disturbance, palpitations, fainting and pre-participation screening.
Pulse oximetry & BP
Oxygen saturation and paediatric blood-pressure measurement with age-appropriate cuffs and charts.

Before you book
How much does a consultation cost?
Fees are not published online because they depend on the service and what the child needs on the day. Payment is made on site at the clinic — reception will confirm the amount before your appointment begins.
Do I need a referral to see a paediatric cardiologist?
No. Parents can book a cardiology consultation directly. If your child already has an echo report, ECG or specialist letter, bring it — it saves time and may avoid repeating tests.
Is the echocardiogram painful for my child?
No. An echo is an ultrasound scan of the heart. A little gel is placed on the chest and a probe is moved over the skin. Nothing is injected and there is no radiation. Most children watch a cartoon through it.
How long does an appointment take?
A first paediatric consultation runs 30–45 minutes and a first cardiology consultation up to an hour. If an echo or ECG is needed, allow extra time on the same visit.
What should I bring?
The child’s immunisation card or clinic booklet, any current medicines, previous test results and reports, and — if you have one — a note of the questions you want answered.
Can we consult from another town or country?
Yes. Telemedicine consultations and second-opinion report reviews are available for families who cannot travel. Book the telemedicine service and the clinic will send joining details.
